When will I receive my Gaiyo Card?

1. When will my Gaiyo Card be delivered?

You will usually receive your Gaiyo Card within 5 business days after activating your Gaiyo Account.

Please note that delivery by PostNL can sometimes be delayed by a few days.

2. What do I need to do to start the application process?

  1. Log in to the Gaiyo Portal (mijn.gaiyo.com).
  2. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  3. This agreement will immediately put in the application process for your Gaiyo Card.

3. Can I travel while I am waiting for my card?

Yes. Once you have activated your Gaiyo Account, you can immediately use Gaiyo e-tickets via the Gaiyo App.

  • Open the app and go to Tickets & Reservations.
  • Purchase and use e-tickets for train, bus, tram, and metro.
  • Any surcharges (such as Intercity Direct) can also be booked as e-tickets.

4. Where will the Gaiyo Card be sent?

The card will be sent to the address your employer has provided to Gaiyo. If you are unsure, check with your HR department or manager.

5. What if I haven’t received my card after 5 business days?

  • First, check with your employer to make sure the address is registered correctly.
  • Please take into account a possible delay in PostNL delivery.

In short: you will usually receive your Gaiyo Card within 5 working days, but there may be delays due to PostNL. Fortunately, you can travel immediately with e-tickets in the Gaiyo App, even without your physical card.
